College of Art & Design has recently opened Apple House
Gallery
in Historic Downtown Hanson Kenucky showcasing some of the
region's finest
artists and professional crafters. Space
at 17 Sunset
Road is shared with Boxwood Antiques, Etc in a recently
rehabilited 1879
building that until this year had no roof, floor or interior
walls.
It was originally an apple house where the
local Tippett/Daisy
Orchards, stored their produce. The
Apple
House Gallery promotes fine southern artists from KY, IN, TN,
NC, LA &
FL. The all original art gallery showcases photographers,
painters, wood
& fabric artists, ceramics, pottery, jewelry makers and even
a willow
furniture maker, Tim O'dea, who is regularly featured on HGTV.
